Dr. Kitipong Promwong

Dr.Kitipong Promwong has played an important role as a policymaker in formulating strategic programmes and initiatives related to science, technology and innovation development in Thailand. His achievements include the establishment of regional science parks, ‘Food Innopolis’ (Food Innovation Parks), the Company R&D Center, Facilitation Centres, the Talent Mobility Programme that mobilises scientists and technologists from the public sector to work with private companies to help strengthen competitiveness, along with a host of other projects aimed at developing the STEM workforce and promoting work-integrated learning education. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Development Studies (Science and Technology) from the University of Strathclyde.
